Tom Gibson

Tom has helped thousands of people cope with email overload.

In 1997 Tom co-founded the company that produced Nelson Email Organizer, the ground-breaking product that instantly organizes Outlook email. The original email organizer, NEO is a CNET Best Product Winner and winner of many other awards and accolades.

As VP Products for Caelo Software, Tom drove all NEO product definition for nearly ten years. NEO continues to help thousands of people effortlessly manage thousands of Outlook messages every day. It is the killer app for busy people in countries all over the world, and has large followings in large enterprises such as HP, Microsoft and Cisco Systems.

Tom’s passion with email started early. In 1980 he worked for a company who provided the first commercial email systems to transnationals like Xerox and Kodak. Tom has held product and/or development management roles at Gemcom Software, Caelo Software, Reuters, International Test Corp, and ViewPoint Systems Corp, and he has been a consultant to companies like Boeing, Fortis and Reuters Data Americas.

Tom is an engaging presenter who has developed and delivered numerous presentations and training programs. He holds a B.Sc. in Computing Science and Mathematics from Simon Fraser University, and is active in the technology community.
